Christmas Wish Frequently Answered Questions

Each Christmas Wish session takes approximately five minutes. Watch this to learn why.

The first part of your session will be dedicated to portraits of your children and family with Santa, including a meet & greet. The second part of your session will be for portraits without Santa. While sessions are relatively short, you can expect your time in the studio—from arrival to departure—to be approximately 15 minutes.

Prepare to spend between $130 to $195 plus HST.

Your first digital file is $60 and each additional digital file is $20. Most families tend to purchase two to three images. There are no other fees.

No. There are no hidden photography or session fees, or anything that would surprise you.

Yes. Once your little ones have spent a few minutes one-on-one with Santa, you can join them on set for some family or group  pictures.

Not really. Christmas Wish Sessions should be thought of as a private meet-and-greet with Santa, rather than a mini-session. Your kiddos will have a few minutes to say hello to Santa, give him their letters and drawings, and have their photographs taken. You can join them for a few pictures too.

I’ll endeavour to take individual portraits of each child plus a family portrait too, but the priority will be capturing your children’s pictures with Santa.

Absolutely, yes. My Christmas Wish set is elegant enough to work just as well without Santa in the pictures.

No. As much as we love pets, they can create unpredictability and distraction during indoor photo sessions. With that in mind, we aren’t able to accommodate pets in this year’s Christmas Wish sessions.

Santa has been thoroughly vetted for professionalism, kindness and authenticity. 

Santa will accept your children’s letters, and ask about their Christmas wishes for this year. Expect your children’s time with Santa to be magical, intimate, efficient, but not rushed.

You’ll leave the studio and a two or three days later, you’ll receive an email from me with a link to view your online gallery. From there, you can view and choose pictures to purchase. 

Two to three days following your Christmas Wish session, I will email you a link to a secure online gallery where you can view and choose which photos to purchase.

You’ll receive your digital images immediately following your online purchase.  

No. My Christmas Wish Sessions are risk free. You only purchase prints and digital equivalents of the images that you actually like.

The choice to buy anything is completely up to you. If you are unhappy with any—or all—of your pictures,  simply don’t purchase it.

Yes. Please email me and I will help you make the gift arrangements.

Your purchases will be made online using a major credit card, including services like Apple Pay, or by PayPal. In some circumstances, I may be able to accept e-transfers. If this is your preference, please email me.
