Visual Hope

Recently, while having coffee, a friend whipped out her phone to proudly share a photo with me. In the image she was holding a chickadee in a forested area near Tremblant.

She was thrilled to have an adorable creature balancing on her hand. I was thrilled to see my friend’s face radiating with joy.

I desperately want everyone to have a photo like that of themselves.

Maybe I’ll take that photo, or maybe it will be an iPhone picture snapped by your partner.

It doesn’t matter who takes it, but it does matter when life is a challenge and happiness is scarce to have photos that are visual hope that you once had joy and you will again.
